Ron Ricotta

President & CEO, Century Mold Co., Inc.

Mike Nuccitelli and Ron Ricotta are partners who own and lead globally recognized manufacturing companies, including Century Mold Company, Inc. and Parlec, Inc. Both companies employ 1,000, including 300 in the Rochester area. Mike and Ron first met 34 years ago when Mike was a high school senior and Ron was just out of college. Years later, Ron was a CPA who serviced Mike’s family business, Nationwide Precision Products, whom Ron joined in 1992. Shortly thereafter Mike and Ron purchased Parlec, Inc., where they combined their finance and engineering backgrounds moving Parlec toward growth and profitability.

The cornerstone of their management philosophy is the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated, whether employees, customers, suppliers or other stakeholders; and never compromise your integrity. In 2002 the partners bought Century Mold, a small, local injection molding company. Today it is the 22nd largest privately held molding company in North America with six locations in the U.S. and Mexico. Primarily an automotive manufacturer, Century products can be found in 80% of the vehicles produced in North America. Parlec, Inc. is a globally recognized manufacturer of proprietary tool and tool measuring products. Parlec’s 4,000 products are utilized in computerized manufacturing equipment. Under Mike and Ron's leadership, Parlec has grown over 500% including a solely-owned enterprise in China.

Ron, a 1979 Saunders College of Business at RIT graduate is a member of Delphi Corp’s global supplier advisory board, Caldwell Manufacturing’s board, and RIT’s President’s Roundtable. Ron received RIT’s Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2005. Ron resides in Pittsford with his wife Kelly. His family includes his four children, two daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. Mike is a 1984 graduate of Clarkson University in Engineering. He currently serves as chairman of Unity Health System, and is a member of the RBA, Precision Grinding and Manufacturing, and Aquinas Institute boards. Mike received the International Business Leader of the Year Award from the Rochester International Business Council and was inducted into the Rochester Tooling and Machining Hall of Fame. Mike lives in Webster with his wife Kathy and their three children.
