James G. Gould is the Founder and President of Alesco Advisors LLC, an independent investment advisory firm based in Pittsford, NY, which he established in 2000. With a career spanning over four decades, Jim brings extensive experience in finance, investment management, and client advisory services. Prior to founding Alesco, he served as President of Clover Capital Management and held leadership roles at IBM, Peat Marwick Mitchell, and Xerox Corporation. Jim holds a Master of Science in Accounting from Rochester Institute of Technology and earned his BBA in Accounting, magna cum laude, from St. Bonaventure University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the New York State Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Deeply committed to his community, Jim has served on numerous boards including ROC2025, the Greater Rochester Health Foundation, and the United Way of Rochester Investment Committee. He has also been a trustee at St. Bonaventure University and held leadership roles with Catholic Charities and the St. Ann’s Foundation. Jim lives in Rochester, NY with his wife Ann, and is a proud father of four daughters and grandfather to eleven grandchildren.
